Truman Scholarship Foundation AMS Freshman Undergraduate Scholarships Amount: $5,000 Apply By: February 7, 2020 Description: Scholarship is open to students entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2019 and must be planning to pursue a degree in the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. Sponsor: American Meteorological Society The ExploraVision Competition Amount: Varies up to $10,000 Apply By: February 10, 2020 Description: The ExploraVision competition for K-12 students engages the next generation in real-world problem solving with a strong emphasis on STEM. The contest categories are divided into: Primary Level (Grades K-3), Upper Elementary Level (Grades 4-6), and Middle Level (Grades 7-9) High School Level (Grades 10-12). The Dr. Aura-Lee A. and James Hobbs Pittenger American History Scholarship is an award of $2,000 each year for up to four years with annual transcript review by the National Chairman required for renewal. These students are selected by their teachers and peers because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree.
